Air-Purifying Respirators
Air-purifying respirators (APRs) use filters, cartridges, or canisters to remove contaminants such as particles, aerosols, and toxic gases and/or vapors from the air. Appropriate for use in environments where there is sufficient oxygen and low-level contamination.
Two types include:
1. Powered Air-Purifying Respirators (PAPRs)
2. Negative Pressure APRs
