How It Works
To qualify for the New Lab Start-Up Program, you must have done one of the following within the last year:
- Built or established a new lab
- Received your first research grant
- Moved to a new location
All applicants must not be a current or potential healthcare professionals (HCPs).
Once your application is accepted, you’ll receive a welcome email with your unique PIN. And keep your PIN handy. You’ll need it every time you redeem a New Lab Start-Up offer.
When you find a promotion you’d like to redeem, purchase the product while logged into your Fisher Scientific account.
With your PIN at hand, access the redemption center at the top of this page. At this point, you’ll be prompted for your PIN and email address.
Select the manufacturer or brand associated with the promotion you wish to redeem, then choose the appropriate offer. Visit the original offer page to see a list of all the redeemable products for your chosen promotion. Review and make your choice.
When you’ve chosen your redeemable product(s), enter the catalog number(s) into the field(s) that appear.
Finally, enter your order number and hit the “Submit” button. That’s it! Take advantage of as many New Lab Start-Up promotions as you’d like during your membership in the program. Each offer is limited to one redemption.
You will receive your redeemable product(s) approximately six to eight weeks after your submission.

How long will it take for me to receive my products after submitting a redemption form?It can take six to eight weeks from the day you send in the NLSU redemption form. If there are any issues with the redemption or more information is needed, delays may occur. In this case, an NLSU team member will contact you.
When does my 12-month period begin?Your 12 months begins as soon as you apply for the program and receive your PIN.
How is a healthcare professional (HCP) defined?The definition of HCP includes individuals conducting activity tied to patient care, including the purchase, lease, use, arrange for purchase or lease thereof, recommendation or prescription of medical products that could be used in patient care.
How long do I have to submit my redemption(s)?You have 12 months from the day you were approved for the NLSU program to redeem your items.
Can I redeem an offer more than once? You can only redeem each of the offers once.
Am I able to combine multiple purchase orders to meet the qualifications of the offer?All of the qualifying purchases must be made on a single purchase order.
Can I use my special pricing on redemptions?No, all redemptions are done at Fisher Scientific list price.
If the product I would like to redeem exceeds the “up to” dollar amount listed on the offer, may I redeem and pay the difference?No. The list price total for the item(s) redeemed cannot exceed the “up to” dollar amount listed on the offer.
