Panexin basic, Serum Replacement with Defined Components. QUANTITY: 100 ml. MANUFACTURED BY: Pan-Biotech (Germany). STORAGE: -20 degrees Celsius. DESCRIPTION: Panexin basic is a fully defined serum replacement for the cultivation of adherent and non-adherent cells under serum-free culture conditions or to significantly reduce the amount of serum in cell culture. It supports the growth of many cell types in an optimum manner without any extra handling compared to serum. COMPOSITION: Contains purified proteins (less than 1 % w/v), lipids, salts, amino acids, trace elements, hormones and only traces of animal-derived components (less than 1 % w/v). It contains no growth factors, undefined hydrolysates or peptones.

BIT 9500 Serum Substitute has been developed for use in applications where a serum-free culture medium of defined composition is required. This product contains bovine serum albumin (BSA), insulin, and transferrin (BIT) in Iscove’s MDM. The sterile solution is added to the culture medium in a final concentration of 10%. It supports the growth of many cell types in an optimum manner. DESCRIPTION: Panexin BMM is a fully defined serum replacement for the cultivation of macrophages from mouse bone marrow (murine bone marrow derived macrophages, BMM) under serum-free conditions. The ready-to-use sterile solution in a final concentration of 5% is added to the basal medium RPMI 1640, supplemented with 50 micromolar Mercaptoethanol and 2 ng/ml GM-CSF murine recombinant.
