This ready-to use solution is effective on bone, nails and soft tissue. Simply soak pre-trimmed block surface in Soft Block for 5-15 minutes (depending on tissue sample size) then cut quality sections. Soft Block is environmentally safe, eliminating the need for any special waste disposal. Safe for equipment.
Sta-On is a liquid adhesive that is easy to use and convenient. 10mL are added to each liter of pre-warmed water in a tissue floatation bath. Diluted Sta-On can also be used to coat slides.
Gill's Hematoxylin is a specially formulated solution for use as a biological stain for the nuclei and nuclear chromatin of normal and abnormal cells whether in whole or sliced cells. Gill's Hematoxylin is designed to use at its full strength. It is microfiltered prior to shipment; therefore, filtration before use is not required. For repeated use further filtration is recommended.
Buffered with phosphate in accordance with the A.f.I.P. manual of Histology. Filtered and ready-to-use. pH 6.9 to 7.1 at 25 degree C
pH: 6.9 to 7.1 pH at 25°C
VECTABOND Reagent (SP-1800) is designed to significantly increase the adherence of both frozen and paraffin-embedded tissue sections and cell preparations to glass slides and coverslips. VECTABOND chemically modifies the glass to form a highly adherent surface, and tissue sections will remain attached even when subjected to the most extreme conditions, such as high temperature antigen unmasking techniques and in situ hybridization. VECTABOND Reagent-treated slides can be stored for long periods. VECTABOND Reagent is provided as 7 ml of concentrate that dilutes to 350 ml of working solution.
The highly stable bond between avidin (A) and biotin (B) can be used to form a complex (ABC) between a biotinylated protein or other target and an avidin-conjugated detection enzyme. With more than 50,000 citations, Vector Laboratories ABC kits are trusted by immunohistochemistry (IHC) and immunocytochemistry (ICC) laboratories. Different variations of the ABC kit system can accommodate a wide array of targets and tissue species. This VECTASTAIN Elite ABC-HRP Kit (Peroxidase, Anti-Rabbit IgG) features a small, highly active avidin/biotin-HRP complex for superior target access and sensitivity. Typical sensitivity is 5X higher than the original ABC kits. The kit includes 1 ml of biotinylated, affinity-purified goat anti-rabbit IgG antibody, 2 ml Reagent A (avidin), 2 ml Reagent B (biotinylated HRP) and 3 ml of normal goat serum. Stains 500-1000 sections.
For all of the best results we offer ready to use Perfusion washes and fixatives which are recommended by the NeuroScience Association. All of our solutions are ready made and are of the highest quality. Perfusion wash and fixative reagent grade. To be used for Standard and ImmunoHistochemistry Stains. BOND ancillaries have been designed for Leica Biosystems fully-automated BOND systems: BOND-MAX and BOND-III systems. Used in the development and validation of BOND ready-to-use primary antibodies and ISH probes - choose Leica Biosystems reagents for the assurance of a quality result in your laboratory.BOND Wash Solution 1X Concentrate is a concentrated buffer solution, requiring initial dilution. The diluted solution is for washing sections of formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue during staining on the BOND automated system. The BOND automated system requires the use of a specific wash buffer to remove unbound material at the end of each incubation step. This buffer is prepared by dilution, using BOND Wash Solution 1X Concentrate. The appropriate bulk container is then filled and placed within the BOND Processing Module. For in vitro diagnostic use.
Combine Epredia™ Phosphate Buffer with Giemsa, Wright, and Wright-Giemsa stains for excellent results.
