Vector Laboratories Normal Goat Serum Blocking Solution 20 ml

This product is made from sera collected from healthy adult goats. Serum pooled from several animals is heat-treated, centrifuged to remove precipitates and filtered. The sera are tested with the appropriate antibody to check for possible cross-reactivities and supplied undiluted with 0.08% sodium azide as a preservative. When diluted, this reagent can be used for blocking non-specific binding when goat secondary antibodies are used in immunohistochemistry (IHC) assays. It can also be used as an antibody diluent.

Colorado Serum Co Goat Serum, 500 mL

Serum is the liquid portion of blood containing proteins, hormones, and electrolytes. All Reagent Pooled Normal Serum is intended for veterinary in-vitro use only as a raw material or component. All blood is drawn from healthy animals maintained on our premises under the direct supervision of our staff veterinarians, are kept on antibiotic free diets, and are not medicated in any way. Calves are fasted for 12 hours before being used as donors.

Normal Goat Serum, 2mL, Extracted, Dialyzed, and Freeze Dried in Phosphate buffer containing sodium azide,

Equitech Bio Inc Sterile Filtered Goat Serum, 100 mL

Collected locally from healthy donor goats in the beautiful Texas Hill Country. This allows us to collect and process the Serum within 24 hours and produce the highest quality and purity on the market. This serum is filtered down to 0.2 microns absolute.

Rockland Immunochemicals NORMAL GOAT SERUM (NGS) - B304

Goat Serum blocking reagent or NGS can be used as a blocking agent to treat plastic surfaces, membrane or tissue after they have been sensitized with primary antibody or antigen. It provides an alternative to bovine serum albumin (BSA) and non-fat dry milk. It is effective in reducing nonspecific binding of proteins to reaction surfaces, thereby maximizing signal-to-noise ratio. This blocking agent is recommended for use in immunoassays where the primary antibody was produced in goat, as a source of non-specific serum protein or on tissue for immunohistochemical applications.

Vector Laboratories 2.5% Normal Goat Serum Blocking Solution 50 ml

2.5% Normal Goat Serum is used for blocking non-specific binding when goat secondary antibodies are used in immunohistochemistry assays. A ready-to-use solution, it is the same serum preparation that is included in the ImmPRESS Detection Systems. It can also be used as an antibody diluent. Vector produces this serum by collecting and pooling the sera from healthy adult goats, heat-treating and centrifuging the pool to remove precipitates, and then filtering to remove fine particulates. The serum is tested with antibodies to check for possible cross-reactivities and then diluted to 2.5% (v/v) in buffer containing 0.08% sodium azide.

Cole-Parmer Vector Laboratories S-1000 Normal Goat Serum, concentrated; 20 mL
Choose from a variety of sera, which when diluted can be used for blocking nonspecific binding or as an antibody diluent. The sera are pooled samples collected from healthy adult goats, horses, chickens, swine, rabbits, cats, and dogs. Each one is heat-treated and centrifuged to remove precipitates and then filtered. The sera are tested with appropriate antibody to check for possible cross-reactivity. Cat and dog sera can be added to secondary antibody diluent to adsorb potential cross-reactivity with each animal’s tissue.
