Attenuated Total Reflectance (ATR) is a sampling technique which requires little or no sample preparation. A beam of infrared light passes throught the ATR crystal and is reflected off the surface of the sample. The reflection forms an evanescent wave which is collected and measured by the spectrometer. The ATR technique works for solid, liquid, and powder samples.
Formlabs Inc Clear Resin V4
Formlabs Clear Resin V4 is a high-performance stereolithography resin for 3D printing transparent parts with high clarity, high strength, and high temperature resistance. It has a high optical transparency with a refractive index of 1.52, enabling the printing of optically clear parts. The resin has a tensile strength of 65-70 MPa, a flexural strength of 110-120 MPa, and a heat deflection temperature of 55-60°C. It has low viscosity for easy printing and good surface finish. The resin is compatible with Form 3 and Form 3L 3D printers. It is ideal for printing transparent prototypes, lenses, light covers, and other applications requiring optical clarity and mechanical strength.
