Ungraduated Cylinders

Ungraduated Cylinders

Ungraduated cylinders and hydrometer cylinders are commonly used with hydrometers to determine the specific gravity of liquids, or the ratio of density of the liquid to the density of water. Ungraduated cylinders offer a pour spout and either a fused round base or hexagonal base for stability. Plastic ungraduated cylinders are noted for being crystal clear with heavy wall construction, as well as providing excellent chemical resistance and the ability to be autoclaved. Glass graduated cylinders provide high resistance to temperature change and provide very excellent chemical resistance.
