Petroleum Bottles
Petroleum Bottles
Petroleum bottles and oil sample bottles are used for the analysis of oil and are typically manufactured from plastic or glass. The material of a petroleum bottle should be selected with the type of fluid sampled in mind. Glass petroleum bottles provide excellent cleanliness levels and lubricant compatibility, while high-density polyethylene (HDPE) bottles are noted for being impact resistant and opaque. Polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottles are clear but not recommended for temperatures exceeding 93°C (200°F).
