Staining Dishes
Staining Dishes
Staining dishes are glass, metal, or plastic containers designed specifically for holding microscope slides during staining procedures. They can also be used for cleaning cover slips, as well as coating them with materials such as poly-lysine or silane. Staining dishes come in a variety of shapes and sizes, but most feature slotted walls on the inside to hold the slides vertically or horizontally. Some larger capacity horizontal staining dishes come with removable slide racks.
