Description
Using the United Scientific Water Cycle Model, you can demonstrate how water moves through various stages on the earth's surface. Students will explore three stages: how water evaporates when heated, condenses on cold surfaces, and precipitates back into water.
- An incandescent lamp (user-provided) simulates the sun, supplying heat to evaporate water in the reservoir below.
- Ice cubes are used to cool the water vapor, causing water droplets to form on the cloud.
- The water falls onto the mountains, then flows back down to the reservoir
- An activity guide is included
