Corning™ Velocity™ Vials are Type I borosilicate vials with an external low-friction coating that can help improve quality and speed the delivery of lifesaving treatments. Velocity Vials can maximize filling line productivity by increasing efficiency and yield, reducing manufacturing costs, and thereby accelerating the delivery of critical pharmaceutical products.

- Internal Coating: No coating present on sealing surface or interior of vial
- External Coating
- Improve fill-finish efficiency by 20-50%
- Reduce the likelihood of damage that leads to cracks, breaks, and cosmetic rejects
- Up to 96% reduction in glass particulates
- Strongly adhered, non-removable with no volatile organic compounds
- Compatible with all manufacturing equipment and processes (i.e. depyrogenation, terminal sterilization, automated visual inspection systems)
