Medium requires addition of 5-20% serum (not included) based on user’s experiment. This kit includes 2x500mL Medium formulated without serum (4Z3-500), 2x5mL CultureBoost animal-derived growth supplement to complete medium, 1x100mL Attachment Factor – specialized 5-second coating solution for healthy cell attachment, 1x50mL Cell Freezing Medium – Cell Systems optimized media that provides a beneficial environment for the freeze/thaw cycle and minimizes cellular damage, and 1 set 100mL Passage Reagent Group (PRG) to release cells from culture for subculture/freezing and which contains 3 parts: 1x100mL PRG-1 (EDTA-dPBS Solution), 1x100mL PRG-2 (Trypsin/EDTA-dPBS Solution) & 1x100mL PRG-3 (Trypsin Inhibitor-dPBS Solution). PRG-1 prepares for PRG-2, which contains highly purified trypsin. PRG-3 inhibits the protease in PRG-2 & stabilizes cell membranes.
