Description

Multi-purpose design serves a broad spectrum of bio-technology laboratory requirements including the collection, processing, centrifugation, long-term storage, and OEM packaging/shipping of restriction enzymes or other DNA/RNA modifying reagents.

  • Circular 3mm syringe port in cap which is easily pierced for radioisotope labeling and fraction collecting
  • Inert, LN2-grade polypropylene protects critical sample viability at extreme temperatures ranging from +121C to -195C (LN2 vapor phase)
  • Two-turn closure design ensures that tightening of unique screw-cap will uniformly compress “O”-ring against beveled seat, eliminating distortion and maintaining seal integrity
  • Vials, caps and ethylene/propylene “O”-rings chemial-resistant and autoclavable with cap loosened
  • Molded-in volume lines and etched writing panels on vials and caps will not crack off or dissolve
  • External ribs on vials position and lock into serrated holes in metal BioStor Racks, allowing single-handed opening and closing of screw-caps
  • Available in natural and rainbow pack
