LabExact The MultiDensity 1000 binderless glass microfiber filter is an easy to use filter which retains solids in a broad size range. This version of MultiDensity filter has a caliper thickness of 2.5 - 3.5mm filters challenging samples with a built-in pre-filter. Larger solids become entrapped on the built-in pre-filter layer allowing the multiple density zones of filter to entrap finer solids rapidly and reliably with a faster flow rate and higher fluidic capacity, up to 4X greater than traditional glass microfiber filters in same porosity range. Process larger sample volumes or samples with higher ratio of solids with fewer filter changes. Filters are laser cut with fused edge cutline for decreased fiber shedding and increased handling stability. Filters demonstrate very low extractables and borosilicate glass is highly resistive to aggressive solvents, acids and base with a usable range of 0-14pH and a wide effective temperature range of -200 to 500 ¿C.
