Sf-900 SFM is developed for the convenient and reproducible formation of 1% agarose overlays used for plaque assays of baculovirus in Spodoptera frugiperda (Sf9 and Sf21) cells. When used with Gibco 4% Agarose Gel, Sf900™ SFM (1.3x) allows for convenient formation of a 1% overlay with correct 1x final osmolality and nutrition required for insect cell growth during the plaque assay.
