Meter receives sound through a 1/2 in. condenser microphone.

Resolution is 0.1dB with accuracy of ± 2 db. Response time can be set for fast (0.2 seconds) or slow (1.5 seconds). MAX HOLD function retains highest reading recorded for later display. Recorder jack permits capturing readings (AC and DC mV/dB) for use with most chart recorders.
