Coagulation Factor VIII Human, Native Protein is purified from human plasma. The protein contains 2332 amino acids and has a molecular mass of 330 kDa. The protein is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. FORMULATION: Sterile-filtered white lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder. The protein is lyophilized from a 200 IU/ml sterile solution containing 1.5% Glycine, 160 mM Calcium chloride and 25 mM NaCitrate and 25 mM NaCl. BIOLOGICAL ACTIVITY: 10 Units/mg. VIRAL TESTING: The plasma is collected from donors vaccinated against Hepatitis B. Each unit of plasma has been tested for HBsAg, Anti-HIV-1/2 plus O and Anti-HCV with FDA approved methods.
