Spectrum™ Chemical Atenolol, USP A receptor antagonist that belongs to the beta blocker group. It is a drug used to treat cardiovascular diseases by slowing the heart beat down and in turn reducing the strain on the heart. It is used for several conditions that include supraventricular tachycardia, hypertension, angina and acute myocardial infarction. The USP grade indicates it is graded suitable for personal care, cosmetic and pharmaceutical applications.
