Line has 5-ports w/4mm high vacuum stopcocks having a 24/40 inner joints w/ hooks just above grind. Ports are spaced 150mm center to center & have rod bracing to vacuum bank. 40mm ID vacuum bank evacuates vessels up to 1000ml. End of vacuum bank has 35/25 ball joint & supplied w/socket joint cap style stopper. Valved gauging port is placed on main vacuum line & has a 12/5 ball joint. Inert gas line has 2-ports for connection of inert gas source & bubbler. End of inert gas line has a 14/20 inner joint & is supplied w/a joint cap style stopper. Pre-trap is 51mm OD x 250mm long w/ two 28/15 socket joints. Main trap body is 58 mm OD x 235mm long w/a reversed 75/50 ball & socket joint connection. A valved gauging port is placed between main & pre-trap. Spacing between the two traps is 175mm for easy placement of dewar flasks. OAD: 40" W x 24" H. Also supplied w/ two #28 S.S. pinch clamps, one #35 S.S. pinch clamp, one #75 S.S. pinch clamp, & two 1/2" S.S. springs.

This design permits the user an unobstructed view of whether the valve is in the open or closed position while also exposing the PTFE valves to less outgassing (when the front bank of the manifold is used for inert gas). The main ports are spaced 100mm center to center. All connection ports are #15 o-ring connections that incorporate a greaseless o-ring seal. Manifold is modular in design allowing the user tremendous flexibility in performing experiments. Adapters from #15 o-ring joints to standard taper components, serrated hose connections or 3/8" Cajon fittings are available to allow the ports to be used with existing glassware. Main tube is 38mm OD with a serrated hose connection, having the smallest serration 13.5mm and the largest serration 15.5mm, located at either the left or right side for vacuum connection. Ports are 0-4mm Chem-Vac Chem-Cap valves with serrated hose connections. The 0-4mm has the smallest serration 10mm and the largest serration 11mm. Thomson Instrument Company high efficiency vacuum manifold can be connected directly to your house vacuum line and is designed for use with Thomson filter plates. These filter plates are offered in both 24 and 96-well configurations and have a long funnel design to eliminate cross-contamination between sample collection wells by inserting below the top of the collection plate. Thomson offers PVDF, PTFE and PP filter plates to be compatible with a wide variety of solvents and uses. The manifold will fit plates using SLAS specifications.
