Date: May 16, 2023

Time: 1 p.m. ET

Presenter: Andrew Lisowski

Understanding the First Step of the Histology Workflow

Tissue processing is the primary, most complex, and one of the longest steps in the histology workflow. Since the process is complex, mistakes are common and questions arise about possible remedies and corrective actions.

In this webinar we will answer frequently asked questions related to tissue processing.

When you understand the science of processing and the chemical and biological interactions, you can enhance the quality of the processed tissue. This enables more rapid diagnoses for better patient care.

Learning Objectives

This webinar will help you:

  • Examine ways to avoid common mistakes
  • Discuss how to take corrective action
  • Explain simple chemical interactions
  • Describe the reasoning for reagent composition
