Apply Proven Principles to Your Work

Reimbursement for many tests is being reduced every year, and the CMS has stated that this will continue through 2020. As a result laboratories must become more efficient, and applying proven lean principles to laboratory work and structure can help.

Lean manufacturing is based on small batches and limited inventory — familiar concepts in modern clinical labs. With small adjustments in workflow processes, many laboratories have become significantly more efficient. In this P.A.C.E.-accredited Fisher Healthcare webinar, you’ll learn how to apply lean principles to your work and laboratory to identify improvements and increase efficiency.

Learning Objectives

This webinar will help you:

  • Explain the basic principles of lean workflow planning
  • Demonstrate familiarity with the tools of lean manufacturing
  • Apply lean principles in your laboratory to improve efficiency and reduce costs and the risk of errors
