As laboratories transition to more automated clinical microbiology testing, it's important that they make the right changes to the way they collect, transport, and prepare culture specimens. Liquid-based microbiology (LBM) products can not only help simplify those tasks, but also reduce costs and improve patient care.

In this P.A.C.E.-accredited Fisher Healthcare webinar, Susan Sharp, PhD, will introduce you to the advantages of using an LBM system to collect and transport specimens. She’ll discuss how LBM products can be beneficial to the lab, including:

  • Simplified and streamlined specimen collection
  • Improved patient comfort
  • Better pathogen recovery
  • Easy automation
  • Reduced costs

Learning Objectives

This webinar will help you:

  • Explain LBM products and how they impact clinical microbiology automation
  • Discuss clinical studies and the positive effects of LBM products on microbiology testing across the world
  • Identify resources available to help you validate and transition users to LBM products
