The QUAD motorized micromanipulator is easy to use and features four independent axes. Each axis has a 25 mm range of motion, a digital display of position and a control box. The compact, intuitive controller takes up minimal bench space, is fan free and is easy to use. Three axes provide the X, Y, Z-orthogonal motion typical of most motorized micromanipulators. The QUAD features a true fourth axis to move the electrode coaxially at exactly the desired angle of approach. The fourth axis has 30 mm of travel that significantly extends the range of travel for the system.
The new SU-TRIO245 is a highly stable 3-axis manipulator with 25 mm of travel on each axis. The TRIO's synthetic 4th axis can be set in software as any angle between 0 and 90º for diagonal movement. Based on a lead-screw design with a smaller overall size and footprint than most manipulators, the SU-TRIO245 is ideal for applications that require 2 pipettes in one setup or for setups where space is limited.
The SU-MP225 represents an economical alternative to the SU-MP285 and SU- MPC365. In 2002, production and design changes allowed us to produce this motorized manipulator as a more affordable alternative to the industry standard SU-MP285. While the SU-MP225 feature set is less comprehensive than the SU-MP285, it includes the most popular features with an efficient user interface. The mechanical design utilizes a miniature stepper motor and integral anti-backlash gear head. Pre-loaded ball bearing slides provide smooth movement throughout the 25 mm of travel. The controller uses low-noise, linear-drive output circuitry identical to that found in the SU-MP285. The methodology for mounting pipette holders and headstages used with the MP-285 has been maintained in the SU-MP225 to allow for cross compatibility.
Our new SU-MP265/M "narrow format" mechanical is designed especially for patch-slice manipulator systems that require more than 2 or 3 pipettes as well as for other setups where space is limited.
Successfully used in conjunction with our other micromanipulators, the SU-M33A is available separately for those in need of a small, practical instrument in applications not requiring submicron accuracy.
The SU-M33A is the right choice for tight environments which require maximum versatility within a small space. The vertical lock is ideal for locking the position of the vertical axis and increasing stability. The optional rotating base and tiltable X-axis provide even further flexibility.

Replacement air intake filters for Porta-Vac II.
ExP Vacuum Wand wafer handling kits are a lower cost alternative to the Porta-Wand and Porta-Vac II systems, which share the same tips. Has a push-button to close the vacuum and release the wafer. The included stand keeps the button pressed when the wand is not in use. Comes complete with an ⅛" Inner Diameter coiled vacuum hose and a wafer tip. Must use a vacuum pump or vacuum line. Able to be used with our Vacuum Pick Up System. Comes with 1/8" coiled hose and stand.
Includes: Molded PEEK wafer tip, ⅛" coiled hose and stand
These stage micrometers are available with a calibration certificate that provides traceability for the precise calibration and confirmation of accuracy of optical measuring instruments, necessary under ISO provisions. The glass discs are mounted in stainless steel slides with engraved serial numbers. Each slide is supplied in a polished wooden storage case. A UKAS accredited laboratory carries out measurements at selected points on the scales and grids and issues a calibration certificate. Reflected light stage micrometer with 0.1" scale subdivided to 0.001".
