Thomson Instrument Company Optimum Growth™ Inversion Transfer Caps (patented) utilize gravity feed for simple aseptic transfer of media or suspension cells to cell bags, bioreactors or flasks (from any manufacturer). Specific Inversion Transfer Caps are designed to work with 1.6L, 2.8L and 5L Thomson Optimum Growth™ Flasks. Simply replace the vented flask cap included with each flask with the correct Inversion Transfer Cap and connect to your vessel of choice.  Transfer connections available include male Luer lock, 7/16” OD male quick connect, ¼” OD barb quick connect or plugged end ideal for tube fusing. These products are individually packaged and sterilized for immediate use. The Optimum Growth system feature a unique low shear baffle design which increases aeration while maintaining cell viability and improving yields.
