No threaded fittings that break. Fittings are CNC machined for precision fit. Internal O-Rings prevent leaks. Thanks to a foam lanyard the entire unit will float if dropped in a tank. Comes in 8 ft. sections to minimize the number of couplers. Commonly used in wastewater treatment plants to monitor activated sludge blanket levels. Retrieve samples and spin in centrifuge to monitor Percent Solids for Waste Activated Sludge (WAS). Also used in onsite wastewater and septic systems. Packaged one unit per box.
