Use in the lab or in the field for transparent or translucent liquids or semisolids.

  • Automatically measures refractive index from 1.3300 to 1.5600 to an accuracy of ±0.0001, and % solids (Brix) from 0 to 95% to an accuracy of ±0.1; better than most benchtop refractometers Results are displayed instantly on direct-reading LCD and can be stored in 225 data-point memory (retrievable using optional IR Link-Up software [13-975-130])
  • Calibrate with distilled water setpoint or use up to four customizable calibration points for full compliance with NIST™ standards

  • Features a special coated glass prism hardened to resist scratching from even the highest solids content samples
  • 3600-cell, linear-scanned–array imaging achieves accuracy to ±0.0001nD, 0.1% Brix
  • Temperature sensors and automatic temperature compensation (15° to 40°C [59° to 104°F] per ICUMSA, user-definable in custom scales) enhance reading accuracy
  • Auto off/sleep mode extends battery life; low-battery detection built in
