Description
Gibco IPL-41 Insect Medium was originally designed for the growth of Spodeptera frugiperda (Sf9) cells and the expression of recombinant Autographa Californica Nuclear Polyhedrosis Virus (rAcNPV) using the Baculovirus Expression Vector System (BEVS). This IPL-41 Insect Medium is modified as follows: With L-glutamine, Sodium bicarbonate. Without Tryptose phosphate broth and Yeastolate.The complete formulation is available. IPL-41 Insect Medium contains unique components required for insect cell culture, including malic acid, fumaric acid, and alpha-ketoglutaric acid. Gibco IPL-41 Insect Medium is commonly supplemented with 10% Fetal Bovine Serum (FBS) before use.
