- Ideally suited for intermittent use, plant shutdowns, and applications where respirators wear out or become difficult to clean in short periods of time
- Color coded for easy size identification
- Can be used with NIOSH-approved 3M filters N95, P95, and P100 for oil and non-oil particles
- For convenience and simplicity, some respirator assemblies are packaged with 3M Filters P95 or P100 along with 3M Filter Retainer 501 or Filter Adapter 502
- Some styles feature acid gas and/or organic vapor protection
